Just read my sister's blog. She just had a big fight with my mum. The reason being she wasnt really trying her best to help my younger sis in her project.
Think about it! What have I done for family? Most of the time, I am not there for them. Even when I am back home, sometimes I will be off for some gatherings or outings. If not, I will be just sitting on the sofa enjoying the fantastic food and tv. I bet mum has regretted to send her daughter abroad for studies. She insists of having my sis studying in Msia.
Frankly speaking, my mum sacrifices a lot for my family. She settles all the housework, from cooking to laundry washing to house cleaning. She tried to cut down the expenses, so as we can have more fund for education. She even mentioned that she may subsidized for my SEP, something that I really want to do in University. BUT, What have I done for my family?
During term time, I am occuppied with all the hall activities, up from choir to Dance production. Not only so, I need to study hard to maintain reasonable grades. Now, during holiday, I am not at home as well. Busy working or juggle with some hall activities as well. It's all for myself. Ok. True that I am trying to lighten up the burden of my family by paying my own hostel fee. But other than that, I dont think I am helping my family in anyway. Too obsessed with my own interest. SELFISH CREATURE.
I will be back home soon. On my plan, I already have 2 trips. In fact, my hallmate is coming to kl for a visit too. So most probably I need to bring her around. Dad has mentioned that I should stay at home longer this time. I really hope I can. But, I do have to come back for Salvation Army tutoring session. Not too good to be absent for long. Haiz.
So, for this holiday, PERHAPS, I shall be a good girl. Stay at home more often. Try to do my best to help my family in which ever way it's possible :)

The one on Grandma's 80th birthday
Grandma's 80th birthday was held in a restaurant at Sekinchan. Everybody in my family bergotong royong to make this event a success. Like what my sis said, semangat MUHIBAH.
We were wondering how to eat the big bun. It turns out...haha...like this...many small ones were hidden inside the big one.
Here's a picture of all the grandchildren with my grandma.
The secret to live longer: walk more, move more like my grandma. She still cycles to the paddy field and market everyday. Can't seem to be sitting still. and she doesnt take afternoon nap too. Overseas trip at least once a year. Well, that is the power of being active.
Not to forget to mention about the rice dumplings since that sunday was the festival for rice dumpling too. Didn't managed to smuggle some rice dumpling to Singapore since we are not supposed to do that. But I managed to eat 7 dumplings within 1 day. NOW, the dumplings are safely brought to Singapore (since they are all in my stomach). Hahaha.
Hoping that the person in charge will call me to work soon. Hates the feeling of waiting. I am just not a patient one.
