1. Going to do summer internship at PB Power in Jurong Island. 12 weeks long (when my holiday is only 13 weeks). Working on construction site (I am so gonna be bangla worker..)

2. Exam is in 2 days time. Yet, I am still here blogging??

怕输

有时不得不承认自己的确是怕输的。
昔日的手下败将，今日已远远地把你扔在后头。
心里难免会有那种酸溜溜的感觉。
试想一想，是什么造就了今天的局面呢？
或许我只能说，是选择与机会早就了这一切。
在人生的十字路口，一个抉择就能把你领导至不同的风景，不同的将来。
而机会呢？有时不由得不相信运气，命理。
撇开这些不说。能不能把握机会，干出一番大事业，就全掌握在自己手中。
或许每一个人都有他自己的宿命，属于自己的天空。
何必在乎旁人的眼光呢？
路还是得靠自己去开拓！

一篇氣死了九十九個老師的中學生作文

今天是國慶日，因為英明偉大的政府建設國家、愛護百姓的功績罄竹難書，所以放假一天，爸爸媽媽特地帶我們到動物園玩。
按照慣例，我們早餐喜歡吃地瓜粥。今天因為地瓜賣完了，媽媽只好黔驢技窮
地削些芋頭來濫竽充數。沒想到那些種在陽台的芋頭很好吃，全家都貪得無厭地自食其果。
出門前，我那徐娘半老的媽媽打扮的花枝招展，鬼斧神工到一點也看不出是個
糟糠之妻。頭頂羽毛未豐的爸爸也趕緊洗心革面沐猴而冠，換上雙管齊下的西裝後英俊得慘絕人寰，雞飛狗跳到讓人退避三舍。東施效顰愛漂亮的妹妹更是穿上調整型內衣愚公移山，畫虎類犬地打扮的艷光四射，趾高氣昂地穿上新買的高跟鞋。
我們一丘之貉坐著素車白馬，很快地到了動物園，不料參觀的人多到豺狼當道
草木皆兵，害我們一家骨肉分離。妻離子散的爸爸鞠躬盡瘁地到處廣播，終於找到到差點認賊作父的我和遇人不淑的妹妹，困獸之鬥中，我們螳臂當車力排眾議推己及人地擠到猴子柵欄前，魚目混珠拍了張強顏歡笑的全家福。
接著到雞鳴狗盜的鳥園欣賞風聲鶴唳哀鴻遍野的大自然美妙音樂。後來爸爸口
沫橫飛地為我們指鹿為馬時，吹來一陣涼風，唾面自乾的滋味，讓人毛骨悚然不寒而慄，媽媽連忙為爸爸黃袍加身，也叮囑我們要克紹其裘。
到了傍晚，因為假日的關係，餐廳家家鵲占鳩巢六畜興旺，所以媽媽帶著我們
孟母三遷，最後終於決定吃火鍋。有家餐廳剛換壁紙，家徒四壁很是美麗，燈火闌珊配上四面楚歌，非常有氣氛。十面埋伏的女服務生們四處招蜂引蝶，忙著為客人圍魏救趙，口蜜腹劍到讓人誤認到了西方極樂世界。
飢不擇食的我們點了綜合火鍋，坐懷不亂的爸爸當頭棒喝先發制人，要求為虎
作倀拿著刀子班門弄斧的女服務生，快點將狡兔死走狗烹，因為尸位素餐的我們一家子早就添油加醋完畢，就等著火鍋趕快沉魚落雁好問鼎中原，可惜鍋蓋太小，有點欲蓋彌彰。
湯料沸騰後，熱得樂不思蜀的我們趕緊解衣推食好大義滅親上下其手，一網打
盡撈個水落石出。
火鍋在我們呼天嗆地面紅耳赤地蠶食鯨吞後，很快就只剩滄海一粟，和少數的
漏網之魚。母範猶存的媽媽想要丟三落四放冬粉時，發現火苗已經危在旦夕，只好投鼠忌器。幸好狐假虎威的爸爸呼盧喝雉叫來店員抱薪救火，終於死灰復燃，也讓如坐針氈的我們中飽私囊。鳥盡弓藏後，我們一家子酒囊飯袋，沆瀣一氣，我和妹妹更是小人得志，沾沾自喜。
不料結帳的時候，老闆露出廬山真面目，居然要一飯千金，爸爸氣得吳牛喘月
，媽媽也委屈地牛衣對泣。
啊！這三生有幸的國慶日，就在爸爸對著錢包自慚形穢大義滅親後，我們全家
江郎才盡，一敗塗地。

Reflections at Keppel Bay (World-class Waterfront Living)

Went for a site visit to Reflections at Keppel Bay this afternoon. Definitely an insightful trip. Site visits are always fun :)

Some brief introduction to this project:

The Daniel Libeskind showcase
Libeskind’s first residential showcase in Asia has its platform at Keppel Bay in Singapore.  His iconic design for Reflections at Keppel Bay will put Singapore on the world map for luxury waterfront homes.

Rising at the water’s edge as ‘beacons of light’, the Libeskind showcase will be the epitome of premier waterfront living in Singapore.

Set in lush and expansive grounds, the waterfront development features six high-rise towers, some linked by skybridges, and spacious low-rise villas. The Libeskind development will sit on a land size of approximately 84,000 sq metres with an extensive shoreline of 750 metres.

Every detail and aspect of design will optimise interaction with the sea and the commanding panoramic views of its scenic surrounds including Mount Faber, Keppel Club Golf Course, Labrador Park, Sentosa and its upcoming Integrated Resort and the city skyline.

Some first-hand info gotten from the sites:

1. 1 unit costs 4 million!! Yes, you must be really rich to get one.
2. The curve part of the tower is build off-centred first..as the construction goes, the centre of gravity changes...so eventually it will tilt to the position desired..
3. Almost 100% of the construction workers are foreign workers..
4. There's only 1 FEMALE engineer in that site. (Construction site is still the mens' world)
5. Reflections is built on Government's land. Currently, there is only 1 point of access to the construction site..That's why..the project starts from the most inner part. At the same time, a road will built beside the area of the whole project to serve as an access point for future use.

Interesting enough..we still able to take some pictures on the site...(Try not to take pic in front of the safety officer.We dont want to look like BIMBOS). Spent my first rainy day on the construction site too..That's how exciting a site visit can be..Haha

New Room for Next Semester

GOing to shift to B303 for next semester. New room.
Hopefully it wun be noisy :)

Hasnt seen this sign in Starbucks so far. So I guess it is still ok to study there?

As always, it is happy to play tennis.
Despite the rain, we still carried on with our game.
Just love the feeling of hiting tennis ball with the racquet.
With full stroke,immense power will be injected to the ball. At the very next moment,the little green ball is already at the other side of the court.

**The only thing that disspoints me today is the GRIP!! Need to get a new one soon.**

Why should you watch?

It brings you to many corners of the world that you won't otherwise discover. For example: Karpur in India, Siberia in Russia etc. You can also have a look at the very own culture and the real life situation of the place. Trust me, this is like a weekly 1 hour geography class. Just that it is far more interesting than your textbook or your geog teacher. Haha :)

You can also look at how teammates work together to get task done. How arguments lead to failure? How teammates encourage each other? Ok! I do admit that sometimes the quarrel scene in the show is over dramatic and doesnt seem to be real. BUT, who cares? It is part of the entertainment too.
